Site preparation for water tanks
- 1Ensure the chosen area is stable ground, not filling soil.
- 2All tanks must be on a level base of concrete 100 mm thick.
- 3Concrete must have a minimum strength of 25 MPa.
- 4Concrete must extend 30 mm outside the tank measurement.
- 5Crusher dust may be used, minimum 75 mm thick, extending 30 mm outside the tank dimensions. A concrete border must be used to contain the dust and to stop any undermining of the tank.
- 6Please use a recommended or licensed tank installer for these works.
- 7Allow room for expansion of the tank once filled.
Delivery
For a smooth delivery of tanks, we have a few instructions that you need to follow:
- 1Property or job site house numbers should be clearly visible at the front of the property.
- 2You will be advised of your delivery date and approximate time by phone call or text message.
- 3Water tanks are delivered to the front of the property only, or can be left under a carport or in a garage if access is easy and it is arranged beforehand.
- 4If no one is in attendance to receive the tank, it will be left at the front of the property. Once the tank has been delivered, responsibility is transferred to the customer.
